Nothing. Mampruli Dictionary does not collect, transmit or store personal information. There is no sign-up, no login, no profile and no identifier assigned to you or your device.

Two things are written to a database inside the app on your phone: the entries you save to Favourites, and your recent searches. Both exist so the app is useful when you reopen it.

Neither leaves the device. They are not backed up to us, not readable by us, and not shared with anyone. You can clear recent searches in the app, and removing a favourite deletes it. Uninstalling the app removes all of it.

The whole dictionary is bundled inside the app when you install it. Looking up a word does not contact a server, so there is no request log anywhere recording what you searched for.

The app contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, no crash reporting service and no tracking identifiers.

The app is distributed through Apple’s App Store and Google Play. Those companies handle the download and may collect their own information about installs under their own privacy policies, which we neither control nor receive.

If your device is set to back up app data, your phone’s operating system may include the app’s local database in that backup. That is a function of your device and your own account with Apple or Google, not something the app initiates.

The app is suitable for any age. Since it collects no information from anyone, it collects none from children.

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and embeds nothing from anyone else. Its typeface is served from this site’s own origin rather than from a font network, so reading this page does not tell a third party that you did.

If the app ever begins to handle information differently, this page will be updated before that version ships, and the date at the top will change.
